Rhetorik Cheers on Exhibitors at IP EXPO 2011

Organised by Imago Techmedia, the IP EXPO is the UK’s largest technology event with hundreds of the leading IT companies coming together to exhibit under one roof at Earls Court 2 and attracted some 9,000 visitors over 19th-20th October.

Rhetorik were proud sole sponsors of the Exhibitor Drinks Party at this year’s EXPO, which was held in the central Convergence Bar at 5.15pm on the Wednesday, and featured free drinks, a Scalextric competition and a free prize draw.   Earlier, during the course of the day, the Rhetorik marketing team circulated in themed “Cheers!” t-shirts with invites in the form of beer mats, whilst the Imago sales team handed out IP EXPO welcome packs and Rhetorik drinks party tokens.

At 5pm, the Convergence Bar was transformed into a Rhetorik branded zone with all hands on deck putting up banners and bar staff slipping on the “Cheers!” t-shirts and preparing drinks ready for the 5.15pm opening.  Tokens at the ready exhibitors massed to the bar for a well earnt drink after a long day on their stands. 

The event proved a great opportunity for the Rhetorik sales team to meet with our client and prospect base directly and a very enjoyable and fun days networking was had by all. 

Well done to our Scalextric Competition Winner, Chris Stassen at Spitfire Technology Group.  In his absence the trophy and track day prize was presented by Rhetorik’s Marketing Manager, John Millington, to his colleague, Chris Joyce, pictured below.  And congratulations to Andy Harris at Talari Networks whose business card was drawn to win a bottle of Dom Pérignon and flute glasses.
