IT and Telecoms Investment 2010: 1st Half Year
The latest research from Rhetorik provides detailed insight into the current IT and Telecoms investment situation in the UK. The Company has been closely monitoring ICT investment by product/service area on a 6-monthly basis for more than 5 years and the latest study in this series tracks key changes that have occurred throughout that period. It also reports on purchasing plans for the next half-year.
The research was undertaken using Rhetorik’s NetPanel, a unique online research panel of approximately 1,900 senior IT and Telecoms decision-makers representative of all types of organisation throughout the UK.
“The downturn in investment evident from the second half of 2008 continued throughout 2009, although the rate of decline in the latter part of 2009 showed signs of moderating”, comments Rick Paskins at Rhetorik. “Predications for the next half year are encouraging, with more than a third of our panel now expecting purchasing to increase and far fewer anticipating continued decline. The outcome is a return to modest growth, albeit from the depressed levels experienced last year.”
The report provides key insights into investment of main technology areas – simply gold dust to anyone in sales and marketing within the technology sector.
